The ambitious project had as its main objective to increase the level of service of information systems ensuring continuity, accessibility and security.
The proposed solution provides for the centralization of systems through the implementation of a virtual operating environment realized in a redundant hardware system. Virtualization has guaranteed GVDR greater management flexibility underlying hardware and allocation dynamically-ca of computing resources. To achieve these benefits, the virtual environment was interfaced to a solution SAN (Storage Area Network) EMC2 as unified storage and a data transmission network and unified communications based on Cisco technologies.
The new network infrastructure provides a high degree of performance and expandability in order to ensure the best application support voice, data and video and will be able to integrate with future situations such as for example wireless environments. On this infrastructure we have been implemented medical environments as Pacs and Eris, the management as Gipo, the Terminal Server environment, the Microsoft Exchange e-mail system, the control systems, automation and communication.
The operator accesses applications using thin client workstations to a centralized and secure, based on a pool of Windows Terminal Server 2008 R2, also virtual. It is also optimized accessibility of the stations of physiotherapy with the aid of touchscreen monitor. These solutions entail a considerable saving in the management and operations of the stations.
